Friends of Birkdale School
Welcome to FOBS (Friends of Birkdale School) we are an enthusiastic team of parents and teachers who organise fun events throughout the year to bring together the Birkdale Family. At Birkdale every child and parent is part of the family and at the heart of the school. The FOBS events encourage families to be a part of the school and help raise money that is used to buy extra resources and pay for special events that enhance the children’s time at school and create precious memories.

The Birkdale Quiz Friday 7th February 2025 7-11pm
A fabulous evening filled with fun, laughter and a little bit of competitive fun!
Set in the Heeley Hall at senior school, Pie and Pea supper included and please bring your own drinks.
Tickets are £12.50 per head and will be available on Trybooking from December.
Friends of Birkdale School Golf Day – 20th June 2025, Sickleholme Gold Club
This 18 hole competition is a fantastic day for parents, Old Birkdalians and Corporate friends. This was a sell out event again last year so early confirmation of teams is recommended.
With fabulous extra competitions on the course even if things are not going your way there is still a chance to win prizes and have fun around the course.
£290 per team of 4 or £72.50 per person
The day includes a sandwich lunch on arrival and team briefing, half-way house refreshments and snacks on the course followed by a prizegiving and evening feast, where family and friends are welcome.
